The successful candidate will have to ensure the full efficiency of back-end activities and of stockroom organization, guaranteeing tidiness of the back of house and utmost care for company’s products

The WW Operations Specialist will act as a main point of contact for regional retail operations teams for all the topics related to merchandise movements (in & out), stock-room organization and inventory management.


Main activities and responsibilities:
  • Develops new procedures to maximize the space available, improve system usage and ensure maximum efficiency of stockroom activities
  • Interacts with regional referents to collect feedbacks on all the aspects related to the stock management, i.e. potential issues, regional specificities and regulations, best practices and areas of improvements
  • Drafts guidelines and procedures for Inventory Control in the stores, certification of the stock take results and minimization of the stock losses
  • Consolidates and checks consistency of regional stocktakes schedules
  • Guarantees alignment in the execution and in the completion of preparation activities, providing tools and reports to monitor and get ready for the stocktake
  • Provides support to Regions during the stocktake period, guaranteeing in store presence at least for the most important stores
  • Monitors stocktake results and the definition of targeted action plans to improve operational perfromance
  • Conducts regular audits of store paperwork and monitors correct implementation of stock activities
  • Oversees the management of on-hold and on-consignment items in stores and compliance to global rules
  • Trains regional referents on how to process stock movement appropriately in order to ensure compliance to global procedures and consistency
  • Monitors End of Seasons product returns vs the plan
  • Works with regional operations teams to track and regularly update stock capacity by store
  • Monitors product flows (stock on hand & products in & out) vs stock capacity
  • Liaises with other departments to monitor, implement and improve shipping flows (in & out)
  • Liaises with ICT department for BOH system development and on-going implementations
  • Develops deep knowledge of BOH System and is able to provide trainings to regional representatives

 Key requirements and competencies:
  • BS degree in management or related field
  • Proven work experience in retail operations of at least 7 years (store experience in BOH management would be a plus), preferably in the luxury industry
  • Solid operational backround and strong confidence with Stock Management and POS Systems
  • Familiarity with business, logistic and financial principles and practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt/multitasking and cope with uncertainty in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong attention to details
  • Leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Confident, with ability to face challenges with a smile
  • Strong standing and “credibility”/ able to influence main stakeholders
  • Fluent English required (international background would be a plus)
