JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Stock Controller will report to the Store Manager and will be accountable for:
The Stock Controller will report to the Store Manager and will be accountable for:
- Being responsible of the stockroom organization in conformity with procedures and directives (style, size and colour)
- Ensuring that replenishment of the selling floor is accurately done by following daily placement of items for sale, in line with articles available in stock
- Supervising all store supply levels such as packaging, beverages, office supplies, etc. and communicate order needs in a timely manner to management
- Developing, setting up and taking part in inventories and analysis of results
- Setting the example of high-quality operations by following policies & procedures, while upgrading the standards through a proper usage of tools & equipment
- Supporting the sales staff with running sizes, assisting at the cash register, notifying about availability of both size and stock
- Timely communicating product stock level and product quality issues to the Management and suggest remedial measures where necessary
- Performing all shipping/receiving tasks efficiently, cost effectively and timely
- Showing to be professional in communication and teamwork when interacting with coworkers, clients, and management
- Drawing up accompanying documentation for uniforms etc. authorized by the Management
- Being compliant with all company fire, H&S requirements
Profilo
PROFILE:
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in a similar role, ideally in retail
- Reliability, organization and accuracy; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office package and operation of retail point of sale system
- Great communication skills and ability to work with sales and corporate staff
- Service-oriented, proactive and supportive
- Fluent in Italian and English
