Are you a visionary designer ready to redefine outerwear? At Cukovy, we believe in blending bold creativity with functionality and a big touch of fun to create standout pieces for the modern wardrobe. We’re on the hunt for a Designer who shares our passion for innovation and can help us bring our designs to life.
Role Description:
As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our upcoming collections by:
- Trend Research: Analyze current fashion trends, market demands, and consumer preferences using fashion forecasting tools and reports
- Mood Board Creation: Develop mood boards that define the theme, color palette, and inspiration for upcoming collections.
- Competitor Analysis: Review competitors' new collections, marketing strategies, and design elements.
- Design Brief Preparation: prepare and finalize the concept for the upcoming collection.
- Sketching: Create initial sketches and digital illustrations for the upcoming collection. Creating technological drawings in illustrator.
- Material Sourcing: Research and select fabrics, trims, and embellishments.
- Color and Fabric Finalization: Work with the sourcing team to finalize color swatches and fabric choices. Make prints for the upcoming collection, applications for prints seeting up the print file.
- Prototyping: Testing the model using a modeler. Collaborate with pattern makers and tailors to create prototypes of key designs. Determination of feather quantity using a modeler. Fitting prototypes. Give the finished sample to the production manager. Pattern adjustments with the modeler.
- Sample Evaluation: Review prototypes and make necessary adjustments to fit, silhouette, and detailing.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, production, and merchandising teams for alignment on the collection.
- Final Tech Packs: Create detailed technical packs for production, including measurements, materials, and construction details.
- Accessory Design: Develop complementary accessories (e.g., bags, hat, towel) if part of the collection.
- Marketing Prep: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan campaign visuals, lookbooks, and runway presentations.
- Retail Coordination: Work with merchandisers to plan in-store displays or online visuals for the upcoming collection. Make creative concept for Popup event.
- Social Media Engagement: Collaborate with the social media team for design insights and promotional content.

- 3-4 years of professional experience in the outwear market
- Proven experience in outerwear design, with a strong portfolio to showcase your skills.
- Knowledge of technical fabrics, multi-functional designs, and innovative construction techniques.
