We are seeking a new Graphic Designer to join our team in Milan. We are a fashion group mainly focused on MensFashion. In your role you will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show attention to detail, you will be working with a young and dynamic team. To create a synchronized, digital and printable concepts in the field of fashion & retail.
Position Brief Details
You will be working together with a young and Dynamic Team, in the center of Milan, as Graphic Designer you will engage in with us in full cycle work from. Creation to realization of concepts, strategies productions of these and seeing them become alive. Our Brands are strongly focused on the ASEAN Market and learning insights of these markets will be become part of your growing asset pool.
To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience in executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, brochures and product packaging.Further you should be open for innovation and highly motivated to see things moving on a rapid phase, engaging on constant basis with one of the fastest growing Luxury markets in the world.
Ultimately, you will ensure the design team promotes our brand through delivering high quality pieces on deadlines and you will have the opportunity to Travel several times a year to visit our target markets.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
•Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
•Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
•Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
•Coordinating with our outside offices and creative director, concept themes for marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
•Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
•Communicating with Marketing team about layout and design needs.
•Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, seasonal concepts, and websites banners, Social media adds.
•Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
•Managing our in-house brand website backend and seasonal and promotional changes.
•Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects and Visual ID
•Liaise with Fashion designer VM Team to ensure deadlines are met
•Refine images, fonts and layouts using various graphic design software
•Apply typography techniques
•Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
- Experience as a graphic designer or in related field for a min of 2 years.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a portfolio.
- Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft Excel Power point.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Experience with computer-aided design.
- Knowledge of HTML, XHTML and CSS
- Knowledge of Macintosh and PC Platforms
- Typing Skills with high accuracy
