Location: Milan, Italy – HQ
The EMEA Retail Security Director is responsible for all those activities that allow to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues and assets by establishing and enforcing
security retail policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
• Risk analysis for stores
• Emergency planning, response & crisis management
• People protection
• Asset protection & loss prevention
• Protection of sensitive information
• Fraud investigation activity
• Implementation of security procedures and guidelines at regional level or in support to Global
• Check each external and internal security officer before hiring
• Due diligence checks on each external security supplier
• Managing of all external security suppliers
• Training all needed staff in security & crisis management procedures
• Supporting Store Planning with security projects and security standards
• Supporting events
• Working together with local and national Law Enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute crimes
• Collaborating on fraud investigations with counterparts in other departments or Group organizations (gather information on criminal networks and organized
Key Requirements
• Previous experience of several years in Retail Management, Internal Audit & Compliance and Security experience
• Knowledge of Store Operations including Inventory, stock control, till operations, Sales ideally gained in a Luxury/ Retail business environment
• Auditing, Compliance and/ or Quality management qualifications would be beneficial
• Understanding of risk management and risk assessment principles is required
• Fluent Italian and English language knowledge.
• Health & Safety qualifications would be appreciated
• IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) to facilitate effective communication and reporting
