Key Account Manager - International

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To manage the P&L of the wholesale direct channel for Germany, Austria, Belgium and France with the objective of maximizing the sales and service to existing and new clients.

THE ROLE:
-To assist in the continuous implementation of new projects related to existing and new accounts.
-To drive changes to the business process to support sales growth.
-To ensure maximum productivity and compliance according to with Patrizia Pepe policies and procedures.
-To maximise wholesale accounts profitability and meet sales targets in partnership with the Wholesale Management Dpt.
-Meet and negotiate with key clients on financial plans and sales targets prior to the start of the season
-Work strategically to achieve and exceed seasonal and annual sales targets.
-Establish strong relationships with buyers across major off-price retailers by maintaining a highly developed understanding of the retailer’s customer base.
-Book and carry out Showroom appointments, seasonally, in the Italian showrooms.
-To analyse data and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.
-Present collections and make recommendations based on sales performance and current trends.
-Process orders and work with Customer Service department to ensure all units are allocated and invoiced in a timely manner.
-Provide the highest level of customer service and follow through on orders and deliveries for all accounts.
-Collect and collate sales information from key accounts to efficiently analyze and report to Sales Director of the Wholesale division.
-Assist Finance department with invoice, debit and credit note queries.
-Utilize confident communication and presentation skills including strong negotiation & persuasion skills.
-Identify and communicate opportunities to increase profitability.
-Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly design & production, in order to communicate account needs.
-Assist in market preparation.
-Work with customer service to ensure all orders are entered accurately and shipped timely.
-Responsible for managing inventory levels and maintaining available to sell reports.
-Serve as brand ambassador, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
-Leads and guides a structured selling process together with the local teams and looks for cross country improvements and learnings.
-In partnership with HR, conduct regional succession planning to continuingly assess and develop talent to support the organisational evolution.
-Participate in Sales Manager meetings to review policies, develop goals, discuss problems and/or situations.
-Continually evaluate the performance of each Line Report and provide constant feedback to drive improved results.

Profilo

  • Good level of English (written & spoken) is required
  • Knowledge of Italian (spoken) or any addictional languages would be preferred
  • Bachelor's degree educated
  • 10years Wholesale commercial experience, with a proven track record of managing national accounts within Fashion Industries
  • Possess strong analytical skills with proficient use of Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, charts, etc.)
  • Self-starter with ability to organize and manage workload and work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders at all levels
  • Must be a highly motivated self-started individual able to work with minimal supervision
  • Shrewd business sense and well-developed commercial awareness
  • Ability to travel at short notice and for long periods when required
  • Ability to adapt and be innovative through problem-solving is essential.
