IT HELP-DESK TECHNICIAN

Main duties:
You will be responsible for offering support and technical assistance to internal users regarding software, hardware, or other computer systems. The scope of the role will include, but not limited to, setup of new/replacement laptops, phones, end-user technical support, and retail infrastructure support.

The Role:

-Serving as the first point of contact for internal users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
-Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
-Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
-Resolving problems with networks and other computer systems
-Diagnosing system errors and other issues
-Following up with internal users to ensure full resolution of issues
-Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
-Provide accurate information on IT products or services
-Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
-Running reports to analyse common complaints and problems
-Installing or changing software to fix issues
-Remotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problems

Profilo

-Fluent in Italian (Written & spoken) is essential
-Good command of written and spoken English is essential
-Bachelor or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields.
-Previous experience (3-5 years at least) in a similar role
-Working knowledge of Citrix Ambient, Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365 configuration
-Experience in applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
-Experience with LAN/WAN, VoIP and multimedia computer platforms required.
-Prior PC hardware/software technical support and maintenance experience required
-Strong customer service background
-Able to troubleshoot general office software issues
-Basic knowledge of Network/Telephone wiring
-Detail orientation with excellent customer service history
-Ability to bend, twist, kneel, stretch and perform task in tight spaces (ex. working under desks)
-Willing to travel extensively when and if required
