The HR Recruiting and Training Coordinator is responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews and managing the hiring paperwork.He/She will lead our employee development initiatives through creative training events and educational
Key job responsibilities and Principle Accountability
•Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
•Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
•Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boards
•Source candidates by using databases and social media
•Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters
•Conduct phone, Skype and/or in-person interviews
•Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
•Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
•Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
•Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
•Attend job fairs and careers events
•Follow-up career development and performance evaluations.
•Map out annual training plans for management, HR, customer support and more
•Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
•Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
•Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
•Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
•Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
•Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
•Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
•Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
•Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design
•Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
•Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
•Ensure employees and managers understand and consistently apply the HR procedures and LV policies.
•Actively participate in HR Projects.
•Bring innovation to our HR processes.
•Any other duties as assigned to the jobholder within the jobholder's capabilities.
University degree (Economic/Law degree)
Required experience for this job
A minimum of five years of HR-experience, preferably with an international scope.
Excellent communication and counselling skills.
Experience in working with multicultural teams.
Fluency in English, French is a plus
Enthusiastic, diplomatic, active listener, hard working, flexible
Able to work independently, but also enjoys working in a team.
Focus is on a qualitative internal customer service.
Willing to travel occasionally.
