World celebrated luxury Company is looking for an experienced, professional, and target driven EMEA Buying Manager to help bring continued growth to the fast growing retail channel.
The position is based in Milan.

Among the main tasks of the EMEA Buying Manager are:
-delivering both strategic and commercial objectives for the EMEA Region;
-supervising the Buying Team and take part in sales campaigns for all the Lines in order to guarantee a suitable mix of products within the Boutiques of the Region EMEA, always in compliance with the master order and the Company’s business targets;
-supervising the Buying Team in assortment and rotation of the products in the store;
-taking appropriate action in-season with repeat orders, cancellations and rescheduling of orders to maximise sales and profitability;
-based on sales results, reporting critical situations within stores and offering solutions (layout, visual merchandising, etc);
-proactively monitoring the Boutiques’ performance and progression within the Region EMEA;
-ensuring prompt delivery of merchandise and correct phasing of intake to meet sales;
-daily monitoring the sales by product (penetration, weekly store contacts, best/worst sellers, etc.) in order to maximize the sales and reach the sell through targets;
-proactively collaborating with all Departments in order to define the appropriate Sales policies (i.e. % discount, timing, carry-over proposals);
-analyzing the data to define and propose the correct Merchandise mix for new openings, with a focus on the sales trends of the local market;
-proactively collaborating with the Visual Team to adjust the display guidelines to each store’s performance (emphasize a product, define the optimal rotation of new deliveries / merchandise already in store);
-regularly planning product training in-store with a focus on their technical and functional features and collection moods.


The ideal candidate:
  • has a university degree in Economics (or similar);
  • is proficient in English and Italian;
  • has gained previous experience in the role as EMEA Buying Manager (previous experiences within the stores is considered beneficial);
  • has excellent analytical skills and technical knowledge of the products, fabrics and materials, and how they are developed;
  • has excellent team management skills, and is comfortable with dynamic and flexible work environments.
