Role Mission
                          
This is an exciting, world-wide role for a Project Manager capable of driving work-streams for multiple, concurrent projects. This role is for one who is passionate about digital innovation and possesses an entrepreneurial drive.
The Digital Project Manager will work with a dedicated team of functional business analysts, technical experts, user experience experts, visual designers, as well as different business stakeholders within and outside the digital area. The work is fast paced, challenging and with opportunity to learn new skills.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
- Be a key member of the Worldwide Digital team and manage the successful delivery of projects from concept stage through to implementation.  Projects will range in scope and complexity, it will include:
- Implementing transformational projects such as a new Order Management Systems, new Content Management Systems, new payment gateways
- Launching new e-commerce markets and introducing new business models
- Introducing new functionality or feature enhancements to the website, specializing in EMEA needs
- Launching new e-commerce markets and introducing new business models
- Projects can be specific to a region or rolled out globally
- Manage the overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project; ensure that project goals and quality objectives are met on time, within scope and resource requirements
- For each project, bring together the right skills across user experience, analytics, design and technical expertise in order to execute with quality. This person will also liaise with different project stakeholders – whether marketing, merchandising, social media, finance, fiscal, logistic, inventory control or regional ecommerce – to ensure requirements are clearly defined, communicated and executed
- Review project briefs, business requirements and specifications to ensure sufficient information has been provided in order to fully brief creative designers and/or tech experts assigned to the project
- Secure sign-offs on key deliverables
- Possess a solid business mind-set in order to participate in business case reviews, trade-off decisions, and project prioritizations. Understanding the business context and the project's contribution will ensure quality delivery.
At the same time, be able to converse with solutions architects and developers in order to evaluate recommended approaches for delivery
- Manage the day-to-day activities and deliverables of Digital projects. Create the project plan. Manage resource assignment, milestone dates and deliverables sign-off
- Provide weekly status reporting and identify all risks to timelines, quality, costs and original project objectives  
- Deploy a consistent project management practice within every project
- Run daily meetings with the delivery teams
- Build regular, clear and constructive communication to all parties at all relevant stages of the process 
- Field new improvement requests from stakeholders and drive the reprioritization process
- Ensure transparency and instill trust in the process, allowing team members and top management to supervise how the project is progressing at any point
- Participate in the preparation of Steering Committee meetings.

Profilo

Key Requirements
 
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or related field
- Project management certifications (PMI/PMP and/or Prince2)
- Agile certification (Scrum master and/or product owner)
- Deep knowledge of Project management tools and methodology - Jira/Confluence and Microsoft Project
- Experience in working with strategic, creative (design and UX/UI) teams as well as business analysts and development teams, to manage an end-to-end project cycle
- A minimum of 5 year's project management experience, successfully delivering e-commerce related projects. Retail experience a plus
- Strong experience in managing e-commerce operational projects as order management
- Proven track record with Project Planning: including scope management, scheduling management, quality management, resource management, stakeholder management, risk management
- Proven track record of executing project as per project life-cycle: (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor, Control & Close and Transition to support team)
- Fluent in English

- Good eye for details, super organized and able to work calmly under stress
- Clear, concise communicator - both verbally and written
- Understand best practice within Agile Project Management and how to best apply
- Strong stakeholder management skills. Able to confidently manage stakeholders at all levels and comfortably own relationships with external service providers
- Keen to deeply understand both the Gucci brand and the digital landscape to differentiate in the luxury space.
