At Diesel Headoffices located in Milan (Italy), we are looking for an experienced Field Area Manager for Lombardia that ensures the net sales from his area by managing Derisking and will have to control the territory by managing the active customer base and implement it through the acquisition of new clients in line with the distribution strategies of the brand.
The role’s main responsibilities are:
Client Portfolio Development
•Managing Current portfolio of clients with constant visit on the field
•Activity of prospecting for new client acquisition
•Guarantee during the sales campaign, a continuous monitoring of the trend of men's and women Denim and Apparel in their own area of expertise analyzing strengths and weaknesses, business opportunities, competitors line and produce special reports
•Build reports on overall sales by constantly monitoring any deviations from forecasts and breaking points for which organize ad hoc commercial actions shared with the sales management
•Ensure a constant monitoring of the sell-out through customer feedback during visits to the shops
Wholesale customer management
•Select and insert new clients checking the creditworthiness with the support of Credit Manager
•Handle commercial issues such as distribution and insolvency of customers in cooperation with the Credit Manager and Wholesales Director
•Ensure consistent alignment of customer objectives and corporate goals through constant visits to stores, share the fundamental concepts of collections and the values and lifestyle Diesel
•Ensure, in cooperation with the Customer Service constant monitoring of shipments and issues related to returns, discounts, and stock replacements.
You will report to the Multibrand & Key Account Director
- High School/University degree or equivalent culture
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Know-how on the product
- Knowledge of the geographical area, volume and key accounts
- Sales experience monitoring and forecasting, sensitivity with numerical data and forecasts
- Determination, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel in Italy, flexibility of working hours
- Results orientation and business objectives
- Willingness to work in a team
- Excellent problem solving
